Lapidary Capital Group (LCG) was formed in 2015 with the purpose of excelling in the quick service restaurant sector. After exploring multiple brands, the partners of LCG fell in love with Sonic Drive-In and their core value of building relationships. Lapidary Capital Group purchased its first Sonic Drive-In in October of 2015 in Marianna, AR. After nearly two years of learning and relationship building, an opportunity presented itself in Alabama, where LCG acquired ten Sonic Drive-In locations. In 2018, two stores were acquired in Arkansas, bringing the company number to 13. Since that time, LCG has continued to grow in Arkansas and Alabama through acquisitions and building new Sonic Drive-Ins. Lapidary is continuing to eye future opportunities, and is diligently prepared to take on new opportunities to help grow its people.
